Well, I'm here at last!! An official Blogger!! I'm finally catching up to the rest of the world!! But I'm super excited to get started and share my passion for crafting!! It all started about a year ago when my husband got his hours cut at work, and we needed some extra cash to help make ends meet. Being a busy mother of five little ones, I had no interest in leaving my home to work, so I decided to turn my hobby into a part time career. I have always loved to make wood crafts, and have been doing them for about the past 15yrs. So I decided to share my passion, and began to teach monthly craft classes. The demand was more than I expected, and classes were often so full that I had to add extra's, so now I offer weekly classes. I have also set up a little store out of my home, and sell already finished projects. People are always stopping by for a quick wedding gift, or birthday gift, even a baby shower gift!! The support has been amazing, and the extra income a blessing. I have taken the summer off this year to re-group and make some amazing memories with my kids, but will be posting new projects as I get them completed. My craft classes will resume again in September, 2010. If you want to purchase anything from my blog - just send me your order, along with your mailing address, and I will send you a shipping quote. If that price agrees with you, and you want to proceed with the transaction, I will send you a paypal invoice for the full amount. Once the invoice is paid in full, your item will be shipped out. I use Canada Post as it's the cheapest way to send stuff out. If you are in a hurry to get something, email me and I can get a quote thru fedex or ups.

New Fall Crafts

Where did the summer go? It can't be over already?!! I have totally enjoyed my summer break with my five kids - life doesn't get much better than that!! We camped, toured, swam, and ate waaaaay to much!! I loved every minute of it!! But here we are back to reality and that means time to get back to business. Once again I will be offering craft classes out of my home in Raymond, Alberta, so if you live in the area and would like to come join us - please do!! We would love to have you and your friends join us for some good, clean fun!! Classes are offered every wednesday night at 7pm starting on Sept 1, 2010. Please pre-register by contacting me no later than the monday before the wednesday night class you plan to attend. That allows me time to have your project cut and ready for your class. If you do not want to come to a class (not the crafty type), but would still like to purchase the project, I would be happy to make it for you for an additional $5 per project ($10 for door greeters). If you don't live in the area, I would be happy to ship any project to you, just email me your address and I will give you an exact shipping price. I will only charge you exactly what it costs me to send it to you and nothing more - I hate it when I get overcharged for shipping!! Do unto others, as you would have them do unto you!! So take a look at my fall projects - I will be adding a few more over the next few days - of course my camera battery died tonight as I was taking photos to post - grrrr!! and I have a few projects in the works - not quite finished yet.
